Our Story
Designed and built by David and Susan Caples in the early 1990’s as an oceanfront boutique lodge, Elizabeth Pointe has always been about creating a peaceful retreat for its guests.
Today, Elizabeth Pointe has been thoughtfully updated with upscale appointments while staying true to the original vision. Partnering with artist C. Brooke Ring, the current owners renovated the Lodge with furnishings and art designed to reflect the charm and beauty of Amelia Island.
So many of our guests have spent their anniversaries, honeymoons, birthdays, and other special occasions at Elizabeth Pointe. Others make it their annual getaway from the bustle of life. Whatever the occasion, our desire is that the experience of staying at Elizabeth Pointe is one that will be cherished forever.
